Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance

Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance is a unique perk belonging to Artist. It was added to the game on 30 November 2021 in patch 5.4.0 as part of the Portrait of a Murder Chapter.

Descriptions & Patch Notes

Overwhelming pain reverberates outwards into chaos.

At the start of the trial, 4 random hooks are changed into scourge hooks. You see their auras in white.

You start the Trial with 4 tokens, 1 for each Survivor. If a generator is available when that Survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, lose 1 token. The generator with the most progress explodes, instantly losing 10/15/20% progress, and will start to regress.

Once you have no tokens, Pain Resonance deactivates for the rest of the Trial.

Changes:

Nerf Decreased the amount of progress lost to 10/15/20%. (was 15/20/25%)

Buff Increased regression to 15/20/25% (was 9/12/15%)

Any time a Survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, the generator with the most progress explodes, instantly losing 9/12/15% progress, and will start to regress.

Nerf Removed scream effect on Survivors repairing the exploding generator, generator will spark to show regression

Any time a Survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, the generator with the most progress explodes, instantly losing 9/12/15% progress and will start to regress. Survivors repairing the generator will scream, revealing their location.
