Territorial Imperative is a unique perk belonging to Huntress. It was added to the game on 27 July 2017 in patch 1.6.0 as part of the A Lullaby for the Dark Chapter.

Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. Survivors' auras are revealed to you for 4/5/6 seconds when they enter the basement and you are more than 24 meters away from the basement entrance.
Territorial Imperative can only be triggered once every 45 seconds.
Changes:
- Buff Increased the reveal duration to 4/5/6 seconds (was 3)
- Buff Reduced the required distance from basement to 24 meters (was 32)
- Nerf Standardised and increased the cooldown to 45 seconds
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. Survivors' auras are revealed to you for 3 seconds when they enter the basement and you are more than 32 meters away from the basement entrance.
Territorial Imperative can only be triggered once every 30/25/20 seconds.
Changes:
- Buff Reduced cooldown to 30/25/20 from 60/45/30
