Franklin's Demise is a unique perk belonging to Cannibal. It was added to the game on 14 September 2017 in patch 1.7.0 as part of the Leatherface Chapter.

Descriptions & Patch Notes

Your basic attacks make Survivors drop their item on impact. While on the ground, it takes up to 150/120/90 seconds for the item to lose all of its charges if it is not picked up.

Reveal items on the ground within 32 meters with a white aura. The Aura will slowly fade to red until the Item is empty of charges.

Changes:

  • Rework The perk ""Franklin's Demise"" will no longer destroy items. Instead, it will drain charge from items over time and leave them empty.

Your vicious attacks make Survivors drop their item on impact. The lost item will be consumed by The Entity after 150/120/90 seconds if it is not picked up.

Reveal items on the ground within 32 meters with a white aura. The aura of items on the ground fade to red until they are consumed by the Entity.

Changes:

  • Rework Instead of the item losing charges when dropped, the Entity will consume the item after 150/120/90 seconds if it is not picked up. Additionally, Franklin's Demise will reveal the aura of items on the ground within 32 meters.

Your successful basic attacks make the Survivors drop their item on impact. The lost item is damaged in the fall, losing 0/5/10% of its base amount of charges.

  • Nerf Changed to only work on basic attacks
