Overcharge is a unique perk belonging to Doctor. It was added to the game on 11 May 2017 in patch 1.5.1 as part of the Spark of Madness Chapter.

In the last 14 days, 3.2% of Killers have had it equipped making it the 32nd most used Killer perk in that time. Scroll down for more stats.
Descriptions & Patch Notes

You are fuelled by your hate for progress.

Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a difficult Skill Check. Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 2/3/4% loss of progress.

Succeeding the Skill Check grants no progress but prevents the generator explosion.

After Overcharge is applied to a generator, its regression speed increases from 85% of normal to 130% of normal over the next 30 seconds.

Changes:

  • Note Only causes a regression event on the Generator that was kicked

You are fuelled by your hate for progress.

Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a difficult Skill Check. Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 2/3/4% loss of progress.

Succeeding the Skill Check grants no progress but prevents the generator explosion.

After Overcharge is applied to a generator, its regression speed increases from 85% of normal to 130% of normal over the next 30 seconds.

Changes:

  • Nerf Reduced the regression when the Skill Check is missed to 2/3/4% (was 3/4/5%)
  • Buff Increased the starting regression speed to 85% (was 75%)
  • Nerf Decreased the maximum regression speed to 130% (was 200%)

You are fuelled by your hate for progress.

Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a difficult Skill Check. Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 3/4/5% loss of progress.

Succeeding the Skill Check grants no progress but prevents the generator explosion.

After Overcharge is applied to a generator, its regression speed increases from 75% of normal to 200% of normal over the next 30 seconds.

Changes:

  • Buff After Overcharge is applied to a generator, its regression speed increases from 75% of normal to 200% of normal over the next 30 seconds
  • Note Regression speed was nerfed from the PTB - it was 100%-400%

You are fuelled by your hate for progress.

Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a tremendously difficult Skill Check. Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 3/4/5% loss of progress.

Succeeding the Skill Check grants no progress but prevents the generator explosion.

Changes:

  • Buff Increased skill check difficulty to tremendously across all tiers

You are fuelled by your hate for progress.

Overcharge a generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that generator is faced with a moderately/considerably/tremendously difficult Skill Check. Failing the Skill Check results in an additional 3/4/5% generator regression.

Succeeding the Skill Check grants no progress but prevents the generator explosion.
