Hysteria is a unique perk belonging to Nemesis. It was added to the game on 15 June 2021 in patch 5.0.0 as part of the Resident Evil Chapter.

You know how to brutalize one member of a team to cause a panic.
Whenever a healthy Survivor becomes injured by any means, all injured Survivors suffer from the Oblivious status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
Hysteria can only trigger once every 30 seconds.
Oblivious prevents Survivors from hearing or being affected by the Killer's Terror Radius.
